Memorial Hospice began in 1989 and was one of the first hospices in Texas. Dedicated members     recognized the community’s need for hospice services, and through Moore County Hospital District, Memorial Hospice was established. A team of professionals: medical, clergy, and social workers, along with a group of dedicated volunteers began the work, bringing comfort and support to dying patients and their families.

Memorial Hospice is committed to helping honor a patient’s choices in the most compassionate way possible. As caretakers of the patient’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual health, Memorial Hospice coordinates the care and support that both the terminal patient and the family need during this crucial time of life.

Many credit the Hospice philosophy for helping to make their final days with their loved one warm and memorable.
